Renton Signal is an independent local news outlet serving Renton, Washington.

Founded by Renton resident Winter Cashman, Renton Signal covers city government, local businesses, community events, and the people shaping life here. The mission, in Winter’s own words, is simple: “I want to show people the Renton that I love.”

That means timely, accessible coverage of what’s actually happening in the city — the momentum, the growth, and the everyday stories that make Renton worth paying attention to.

Renton Signal, LLC is a member of the Renton Chamber of Commerce and the GSBA, Washington’s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce. The editor serves on the board of Renton Pride, the Mayor’s Inclusion Task Force, and the RPD Chief’s Community Council. They also own TechFox USA LLC, the firm that powers this site.
